How is SoftwareMatch different from other “evaluation” or “search” sites?

SoftwareMatch is different from other software product portal or evaluation sites as we provide more than just a simple collection and listing of the various vendors’ products and product information.

Instead of simply providing a listing of all the various products available, the software specialists at SoftwareMatch actually narrow the search and shorten your evaluation process by providing vendor matches based on your specific software needs.

In addition, our philosophy is that it takes more than just the right product to have a successful new software implementation. You need a vendor that can provide the right product and the right service and support. Do we still need to do our own software evaluation if we use SoftwareMatch?

Yes. We do not expect to replace your own evaluation and due diligence process. Our goal is to assist your evaluation process by supplementing or validating your selection with our “match” recommendations. How does it work?

Using SoftwareMatch is a simple 3 step process:

  1. Simply fill out our secure online form describing your specific software requirements.
  2. After carefully reviewing your requirements, our software specialists will match you with the vendor or VAR organization best suited to meet your needs.
  3. Our software specialists will then provide the names of up to three of our Preferred Software Vendors for you to contact directly.

A Preferred Software Vendor is a designation we give vendor and VAR organizations that have meet our strict guidelines and have demonstrated high levels of success with their software products.

How does a vendor qualify to become a Preferred Software Vendor?

A vendor or VAR organization that applies to become a Preferred Software Vendor must complete a comprehensive and thorough application and approval process. Criteria for acceptance into our Preferred Software Vendor program include; length of time in business, expertise with software products, service and support staffing, reference checks, etc. Once accepted into our program, we monitor and evaluate their performance and customer satisfaction levels on an on-going basis.

How many Preferred Software Vendors will you “match” my company with?

Our software specialists will match you with no more than three of our Preferred Software Vendors. You will be given the contact information for those vendors or VAR organizations. Your information will be shared with those companies only. We will never be share, rent or sell your information to any other organization, for any reason.<

How do you ensure my information is protected and secure?

SoftwareMatch takes every precaution to safeguard your information. When you complete the online form on our web site, your information is protected both online and offline. What if I am not happy with my matched vendors?

If you are not happy with the level of professional service and attention you are receiving from one of our Preferred Software Vendors before you enter into an agreement or transaction – please contact one of our software specialists immediately. In addition to working to solve your issue, your feedback and opinion is very important to us as its part of the criteria we use to evaluate the on-going performance of our vendors.

If you have already entered into a transaction or contract, you must resolve your issue directly with the vendor or VAR organization. SoftwareMatch is not involved in any transaction between your company and the Preferred Software Vendor. We have no control over the quality of services or claims of suitability a vendor may make. You are expected and encouraged to thoroughly interview, evaluate and check references of each vendor you consider. Your company has the sole responsibility to reach an independent decision about your final choice of a vendor.
